Rosaries are a form of prayer beads primarily used in Catholic and Christian traditions. These prayer beads are arranged in groups of 10 (called decades), with larger beads separating each decade. At the end of each rosary, there is a crucifix or cross.

Rosaries are used as a tool for prayer for either private devotion or communal prayer. Prayers such as the Hail Mary and Our Father are recited on each bead. While praying the rosary, individuals meditate on the various life events of Jesus and Mary, known as mysteries, which are associated with each decade.
